Journalist Andre Walker has said he does not believe there should ever have been a coronavirus lockdown in the UK. Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, he argued: “Getting people going again is impossible “All the people on fixed incomes, public sector workers, who continually drone on about keeping the lockdown as draconian as possible for as long as possible – my message to them is very simple – we could end the lockdown completely, we could get rid of all the social distancing rules and if you just want to sit in your house on your own, you’re perfectly welcome to do that.”
