Journalist Peter Hitchens has criticised the wearing of face masks, labelling it “compelled speech.” Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, the Mail on Sunday columnist said: “If you wear one of these things you are making an expression of support for the government’s whole policy…It’s like being compelled under the threat of a fine to wear a great big badge saying ‘I support the government and it’s policy’.”
